Low temperature properties of diluted Ising antiferromagnets RxY1-xRu2Si2 (R = Ho, Dy) by means of magnetization and specific heat measurements and neutron scattering experiments. The Ho-system exhibits the long-period antiferromagneic order with the same magnetic wave vector q = (0.205,0,0) as that in the pure compound HoRu2Si2 for the Ho-concentration down to x = 0.067. On the other hand, the mean-field type spin glass transition was found in the Dy-system with x = 0.103. The magnetic correlations in the diluted Ho-compounds start to develop below the antiferromagneic transition temperature of the pure compound TN(x=1.0), indicating an emergence of the Griffirhs phase. |
